3- Stomping on the Celtics Logo

Even once Kyrie Irving swapped out his Celtics jersey for the Brooklyn Nets, the animosity between him and the Boston fanbase only grew. The Nets and Celtics faced off in the First Round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs, and following a 141-126 Game 4 Brooklyn win, Lucky the Leprechaun was unfortunately on the receiving end of Irving's wrath, as Kyrie made a point to scuff up the logo at midcourt.

During the series, the Garden crowd had been constantly booing Irving and Durant, with Kyrie showered with boos every time he touched the basketball. That night, a Celtics fan was also arrested for throwing a water bottle at Irving as he left the court.

The Nets would win two nights later in Brooklyn to complete a gentleman's sweep of the Celtics, winning the series in five games. Boston fans had clearly not forgiven Kyrie for his broken promise, and his reaction to the fanbase's disdain did little to quell the situation.
