Ever since Bill Belichick parted ways with the New England Patriots after 24 years this past offseason, NFL fans have been waiting for the legendary head coach's next move. Even though he was linked to several jobs, most notably the Falcons, Belichick started the season unemployed and decided to go the media route.

Belichick has been offering valuable insights to viewers in his new role but it's clear that he wants to return to coaching. He has Don Shula's all-time wins record to beat, after all.

What his next coaching gig will be, however, remains unclear. Rob Gronkowski, who played under him for nine years, thinks the call might be coming soon.

On his latest appearance on Up & Adams Show, the iconic tight end said that Belichick would be interested in the Jacksonville Jaguars job.

NFL Rumors: Gronk Thinks Belichick Candidate for Jaguars Job

The Jaguars started the season 0-4 and their postseason dreams are dwindling with each passing week. Doug Pederson is holding onto his job for now, claiming that the coaching isn't the issue and that he still has control of the locker room. Yet, it's painfully obvious that his days there are numbered.

Gronk thinks that Belichick would return to the NFL if the Jaguars called him. He added that Belichick wants to return to coaching and everyone would love to see him back on the sidelines.

The Jags role would be a major challenge for Belichick. The team has better talent than their 0-4 record indicates but they have significant holes on their roster in need of an upgrade, including at quarterback.

Whether it makes sense for Belichick to take on a multiple-year project or wait for a contender he can win with immediately is up for debate but Gronk thinks the time is now.
