"Good news" and "bad news" for New England Patriots fans is pretty subjective right now. If you're a pessimist who's already set on tanking, things that help the Pats win may be bad news. For everyone who still wants to see their favorite team win games, however, I've got some good news for you.

Trent Brown and David Andrews both addressed their statuses for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills, and they gave some great updates:

Patriots News: Trent Browns, David Andrews Injury Updates

Trent Brown announced that he will play on Sunday after being limited on Thursday (and recording a DNP on Wednesday) with a pec injury.

David Andrews also said he will be available on Sunday despite the fact that he’s listed on the injury report with an ankle issue.

Those are two key updates for a Patriots offensive line that has been totally decimated by injuries this season. This doesn't put the unit at full health, but it certainly avoids rolling into Week 7 with a totally disastrous lineup.

The injury news on both sides is favorable for the Pats too, as the Bills have ruled out Ed Oliver for this one.

I’m not trying to say we should expect the Patriots’ o-line to dominate or anything. This is still a unit that ranks No. 30 in pass pro and No. 24 in run blocking according to Pro Football Focus. The Bills are also still graded as a roughly average run defense and a top-10 pass-rush unit.

But without Brown and Andrews, this game would be a total write-off even before kickoff.

Now the Patriots at least have a fighting chance.
