The NFL Draft is just five days away and teams are going to bring in potential franchise-altering players.

Multiple teams shifted their focus onto the top quarterback prospects in this class with the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots being two mainstays looking at QB.

New England moved on from Mac Jones with Jerod Mayo and Elliot Wolf now calling the shots post-Bill Belichick. The Vikings are also looking for a long-term answer at QB after Kirk Cousins joined the Atlanta Falcons in free agency on a four-year, $180 million deal.

The Vikings own the No. 11 and No. 23 overall picks in the 2024 NFL Draft and have been reportedly trying to move up to select their franchise QB. Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell sent a message to the Patriots with the draft approaching.

Patriots News: Kevin O'Connell Sent a Gift to Robert Kraft

"But we only need one team to be complicit, and hopefully we can find that team. I may or may not have sent a nice bouquet of flowers to Robert Kraft the other day," O'Connell told attendees of the “Faith & Life” series at St. Philip the Deacon Lutheran Church.

The 38-year-old just hinted that he sent some flowers to Pats owner Robert Kraft in an attempt to butter the organzation up.

New England could easily stand pat and select a new signal-caller but the Pats roster needs help in multiple different areas. They need more talent at WR and OL, so the extra draft capital should greatly improve the team.

If New England did trade with Minnesota, both picks 11 & 23 would be in the deal with more selections sprinkled in for sure. The Pats could still snag a QB at 11 and take the highest-graded player on their draft board at No. 23.

Who knows if New England will bite but the Vikings are making it known they want to move up, making the Patriots an intriguing option.

Currently, Drake Maye (-115) is the clear favorite to be the No. 3 overall pick in the draft. Head over to FanDuel Sportsbook now to get in on the action before the 2024 NFL Draft.
