The Red Sox have three men heading into the 2025 All-Star Game in Atlanta, Georgia on July 15. The players selected were Garrett Crochet, Aroldis Chapman, and Alex Bregman.

They will all be reserves, coming into the game later on, though it's still an exciting development for a trio of deserving players.

Crochet is a pure Cy Young contender and will most likely be in the game around the 2nd inning after Tarik Skubal. He's the second-best pitcher in baseball, leading the league with 151 strikeouts and maintaining an ERA of 2.39. If people think Skubal is dominating, Crochet is as well. It'll be fun to see him represent Boston, not just for this year, but for many years to come, now that he's extended.

Aroldis Chapman is one of, if not THE best, closer in all of baseball this season. While he isn't leading in saves, that's more due to the Red Sox's performance this season. They're not giving him many opportunities to close out any games, whether they're getting blown out or they, themselves, are doing so. He has 15 saves, an ERA of 1.25 (second-most behind Andres Munoz of Seattle), and is also 37 years old, still throwing 100+ mph. He's defying father time with his talent, and he, along with Crochet, more than deserves this spot. Does he get an appearance? Possibly, but they'll have to see. It's between him, Andres Munoz, and the best closer in baseball, Josh Hader.

Alex Bregman was a surprising pick for the All-Star Game. He's been injured because of a quad strain since late May and hasn't touched the field since. He's supposed to return soon, as the All-Star Game is on the 15th. Today is the 7th. The Red Sox have two three-game series, one against Colorado starting today and Tampa Bay, with a more unknown timetable of when he can come back. But, in those 51 games, he's hit .299, with 11 HRs, 17 doubles, and all with a slugging percentage of .553, an OPS of .938, and a 158 OPS+. He deserves it, despite his injury. Whether or not he performs in the game is to be considered, but it'll be good to see.

The three men have all been in the All-Star Game before. For Garrett, it's his second career game. For Chapman, it'll be his 8th selection. As for Bregman, it'll be his third career game. All of these men, main emphasis on Bregman and Chapman, could be future Hall of Famers if things play out right. It'll be nice to have three Red Sox players back in the All-Star Game again. Just like Duran last year, hopefully, one of them can win the All-Star MVP again and bring it back home.
