The Florida State Seminoles ran all over their opponents during the 2013 season and thanks in large part to quarterback Jameis Winston. The 2013 Heisman trophy winner threw for over 4,000 passing yards and 40 touchdowns, and as a result lead to them being ranked #1 throughout the year as well as a chance to capture the BCS Championship. Florida State matched up against the Auburn Tigers and early on it looked like the Tigers would give the Seminoles a run for their money, going into halftime up 21-10. However, as we’ve seen time and time again this current season, Florida State managed a miraculous comeback scoring 24 unanswered points in the second half including 21 in the final quarter that lead Florida State capturing its first National Championship in 14 years.
