‘Big’ Vince Signs for 3 more years

On March 27th Vince Wilfork and the New England Patriots reached an agreement to keep the long-term vet in a Patriots uniform for potentially 3 more seasons. If you had forgotten, Wilfork initially requested a release from the team because they were not getting anywhere with their current negotiations, but after Wilfork was forced to miss the 2013 season with a torn ACL it was easy to see why the Patriots were so cautious at first. Ultimately the two sides came to a deal that not only keeps Wilfork in a Patriots uniform for another 3 years, but it also provided a little cap flexibility in 2014.
