With the Patriots on a bye, my Sunday morning suddenly opened up, so I decided to give a complete set of NFL Week 4 predictions. There are certainly some interesting games this week, starting off with an AFC East battle taking place from across the pond. Patriots’ fans should particularly be keeping an eye on that one.

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have struggled in the early going of this season. Ryan Tannehill cannot get anything going with the offense, and the defense has been awful despite major off season additions. The Jets’ defense is truly elite, and Ryan Fitzpatrick has done a nice job of managing the offense. Give me the Jets in this one, mostly because I do not see how Tannehill can move the ball against this defense.

Prediction: Jets 24, Dolphins 10

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts

The Patriots embarrassed Jacksonville last week, and while they are mostly better than they have been in year’s past, this is still a struggling team. The Colts have had a disastrous start to the season, and Andrew Luck is legitimately questionable for this one. With or without Luck, the Colts’ defense is not good enough to stop anyone. I’ll take the Colts, but it’s going to be closer than you think.

Prediction: Colts 27, Jaguars 21

New York Giants at Buffalo Bills

One of the more interesting games of the weekend is one that I think will go down to the wire. Despite their 1-2 record, the Giants have looked pretty good this season. The defense is a problem, but I think Eli Manning and the offense can move the ball with success. Unfortunately, the Bills defense is loaded, and will make things tough for Eli and company. I expect a big game out of rookie RB Karlos Williams, filling in for LeSean McCoy.

Prediction: Bills 28, Giants 17
