By Justin Doyle
Boston Bruins Kick Off A 4 Game Road Trip Against New York Rangers
The Boston Bruins are heading on the road again, this time they are matching up with the New York Rangers. The Bruins are looking to bounce back after getting their teeth kicked in by the Minnesota Wild.
The Black and Gold have matched up against the Rangers 640 times over the years. They have a winning record of 291-243-97-9.
The Rangers are 4-2 this season, and in first place of the Metropolitan division. The Bruins are 3-3.
If the Bruins do indeed still have some injuries it will be an even tougher match up against the Rangers. Especially with players like Chris Kreider, Rick Nash, Rookie Jimmy Vesey who has shown that he can indeed play in the NHL, and Jimmy Hayes‘ brother Kevin Hayes. Also they have one of the top active goalies in the League in Henrik Lundqvist.

Recap Of Last Bruins Game:
The Boston Bruins were embarrassed Tuesday night at home in TD Garden by the Minnesota Wild who came into the Bruins building and shut them out 5-0. This was the worst shut out at home since 2006, what an abysmal performance on their home ice.
So far this season the Bruins rank 17th in the league in goals for with 15 goals, entering tonight the team had been ranked 7th in goals against but that number is surely to change after losing 5-0 to the Wild.
The lack of offensive production is very concerning though, in six games the Bruins have failed to score first, and outside of the first and fourth line the Bruins offensive production is essentially next to nothing. It is for this reason that the Bruins need to change up their lines in the hopes of creating a spark.
