Recap:
The Boston Bruins defeated the Florida Panthers 2-1 on the road behind the strong goal tending performance by Tuukka Rask.
With the win the Boston Bruins move to 5-4 on the season with 10 points. The Black and Gold are also still undefeated in games started by Tuukka Rask with a flawless 5-0 record when their top net-minder is in-between the pipes.
Tuesday night Rask was essentially flawless stopping 33-of-34 shots taken by the Panthers. The Bruins as a whole were outshot 34 to 26 and had a game high 26 penalty minutes. But Rask quite literally stole the game for the B’s with the total number of shots attempted by the Panthers was 70 to the Bruins 38.
The game was pretty physical with multiple fights breaking out over the course of the game. The Bruins seemed to get back to physical hockey but they took some bad penalties along the way that should have cost them the game.
