Boston Bruins Prospects JFK and Charlie McAvoy Shine In Frozen Fenway

JFK and McAvoy impressive for Boston University during Frozen Fenway
Boston Bruins Charlie McAvoy and Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson kept their hot hands in last night game at Fenway.
JFK had 2 of the 5 goals that BU scored in their match up against the University of Massachusetts. McAvoy who along with his other teammates were honored for helping bring home the gold medal at the World Junior Championship. McAvoy also had a goal in the Terriers win.
"“Really couldn’t have drawn it up,” McAvoy told reporters after the game, when asked what the experience of the last week has been like"
"“It’s good to get back and get 2 points. It’s been crazy, but good to get back here and be with this family.”"
"“Really special,” McAvoy said of playing at Fenway. “I’m a New York kid, but you get to Boston – before I was even drafted by the Bruins I had been to Fenway. It’s such a storied building and such a great city."
Karlsson was recently named Hockey East’s Player of the Week Monday, scored the first goal with 28 seconds left in the first period. He scored BU’s second goal of the game at 11:33 of the second, with an assist from Kieffer Bellows.
"“It works that way sometimes. It’s nice to get this start to 2017,” said the sophomore, who had just three goals before Christmas."

He has been on of the hottest prospects this year. He has played 10 games for the Soo Greyhounds of the OHL. Senyshyn has scored 15 goals and 2 assists in those 10 games.
He scores a hot trick, his third, in a 6-5 victory over Kitchener on Friday.
Frederic, Hughes playing well for Wisconsin
Trent Frederic tallied three assists over the weekend. Teammate Cameron Hughes scored the game winner in the Badgers win on Friday. Hughes and Frederic are tied for fifth on Wisconsin with 15 points.
Clarke Scores his first
Cameron Clarke scored his first collegiate career goal in Saturday’s Ferris State’s 2-2 tie with Alaska-Anchorage. The freshman defenseman also potted an assist on Corey Mackin’s game tying goal.
