Cam Neely

Neely has been the President of the Boston Bruins since June 16, 2010. may have been a great player who had his career ended to early by a goon, but this does not mean that he will make a good front office man. I do not think that Neely has any clue about how to run a team. He is supposed to be the guy that says that is a really dumb idea, but he has not done that. Cam has not only let many good players go, but has allowed many questionable moves along the way. I think that he is the root of the problem.

The players are not his friends. He should think of them as assets. He is the guy that needs to approve the ‘bad” trades that Bruins former GM Peter Chiarelli. Neely is the guy that approved to trade young stud Tyler Seguin.

Here is a list of trades that Neely has approved:

  • Bruins trade Dougie Hamilton to Calgary for 2015 1st rounder, and 2 2nd rounder’s. Thought the Bruins got Jake Zboril, Brandon Carlo and JFK indirectly from the trade
  • Bruins acquire Brett Connolly from Tampa for a 2015 2nd and 2016 2nd
  • 2015, Bruins acquire Zac Rinaldo for a Third-round pick June in the 2017 draft
