Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand is showing that he still wants to win, while the rest of the team continues to struggle.

Brad Marchand is on fire right now for the Boston Bruins, and after Scrutiny he shows that he  wants to win. This is great for fans because just maybe he can bring this hot streak into the All-Star Game.

Game Recap

The Boston Bruins defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins last night 4-3 in regulation. Yes the Bruins won in regulation. Brad Marchand scored 2 of the Bruins 4 goals, one being a shorthanded goal. The Third goal scored by Riley Nash on a tip in. The fourth goal and the game winner scored by Patrice Bergeron. I have not watched any part of the past two games and they have won both. With that said maybe if I continue to not watch the games they will keep winning.

Is Brad Marchand a top 10 forward?

Marchand is currently tied for second among active players in most shorthanded goals scored with 22. Marchy also had two goals in the Bruins 4-3 overtime win against the Detroit Red Wings. Brad Marchand has been very good of late and he is coming off a career year last season, with 37 goals and 24 assists.

More from Boston Bruins

This season Marchy lead the team in goals (21)  and points (49) as of last night. Marchand has played well so far this year, his performance in the World Cup helped build his confidence  coming into the season. He came out hot then hit a cold stretch and now he is blue hot, which is hotter than red-hot.

Now the question is he a top 10 forward.  I would say Patrick Kane, Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, Alex Ovechkin, Tyler Seguin, John Tavares, Vladimir Tarasenko, Jack Eichel, Steven Stamkos, and Anze Kopitar. Top 10 forward no, but winger maybe. If you were to ask me to name 10 forwards better than Marchand I could do it, but if you ask about wingers it gets a bit tougher. Marchand is 5th in the league in points with 49. He also leads all left wingers in points.
