The New England Patriots celebrated their Super Bowl championship with their fans on Tuesday as the duck boats made their way through Boston.

For the fifth time, the New England Patriots took to duck boats to celebrate a Super Bowl championship down the streets of Boston. One million fans lined the streets, braving the cold weather to do so. As rain and snow flurries fell, the bundled up fans cheered and yelled and waited for a look at their favorite Super Bowl champions, Tom Brady, James White, Logan Ryan, and more.

After beating the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 Sunday with the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, fans were anxious to see the Pats.

"“I told you we were going to bring this sucker home. And we brought it home,” Brady said, the Lombardi trophy in hand before a crowd at the parade’s end at Boston City Hall."

Later on, the crowd was heard already desiring another ring. Chants of “We want six! We want six!” broke out among the fans. Confetti fell upon the players, and even coach Bill Belichick broke out a smile. TB12 repeatedly hoisted the trophy high for all the fans to see. Julian Edelman led fans in a “1, 2, 3, 4, 5” chant, referring to the number of New England championships, all coming since 2002.

The parade began at the Hynes Convention Center headed  down Boylston Street, around Boston Common to Tremont Street, and then ended at City Hall Plaza.

The City Hall rally included appearances by Boston Mayor Marty J. Walsh and Governor Charlie Baker. Governor Baker officially proclaimed the day, “New England Patriots Day in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.”

"“No. 5! History here in Boston,” yelled Walsh."

This was the city’s 10th parade since 2002. The Patriots have won five Super Bowl’s in that span, the Red Sox won three World Series titles, and the Bruins and Celtics each added a championship as well.
