Bad blood has been a trend between the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards. In Game 3, Washington’s Kelly Oubre Jr. has been ejected.

The Boston Celtics cannot slow down the Washington Wizards in the first half of Game 3 tonight, but the bad blood is still running hot on the Washington side. Up by 21 points, Kelly Oubre Jr. still felt the need to make one of the worst decisions he could have.

After a hard screen was set on him by Kelly Olynyk (and a foul was called by the way), Oubre Jr. chose to get up and charge. He made a run at Olynyk and knocked him down with a forearm to the chest.

Olynyk was standing right beside the referee and Oubre Jr. is lucky he didn’t make contact with him.

Here’s how twitter reacted to the Oubre Jr. shot on Olynyk.

Oubre Jr. was assessed a flagrant 2 foul and was immediately ejected from the game. He’s also likely to receive at least a one-game suspension, which could be a dagger for Washington.

The Wizards do not have a deep bench, but they will now have to find a solution to replace Oubre Jr.’s minutes. Brandon Jennings came in immediately after the ejection, but he has not been consistent off the Washington bench.
