New England Patriots receive Super Bowl LI rings at special ceremony
At a special ceremony held by owner Robert Kraft, the New England Patriots received their Super Bowl LI rings tonight.
This evening, the New England Patriots had another Super Bowl ring ceremony and party. We’ve come to expect them here as the team has won 5 rings in the last 15 seasons. Let’s hope they make it 6 in 16.
Players were clearly excited for the ceremony, and I’m sure they were hoping for more dance moves from Tom Brady.
Here, we’ll highlight the top moments of the event, including some moments caught on social media before the ceremony.
Julian Edelman got his day started with a fresh haircut before getting ready for the ring ceremony. You need to look your best when you’re partying with the likes of Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo.
Speaking of TB12, here he is heading to the ceremony with his wife Gisele. She posted the photo to her Instagram account.

LeGarrette Blount is now a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, but he did return for the ring ceremony.
Danny Amendola, of course, made his way to the ceremony. So did new Packers TE Martellus Bennett.

Earlier in the day, the rings arrived in an armored vehicle.
Robert Kraft did his best to greet every guest as they arrived.
As is usual now, the rings were on the tables but players were not allowed to open the box until instructed to do so. Here’s a look at the locked box of David Andrews.

Comedian Tracy Morgan performed during the ceremony. He reportedly made a Kraft/Putin joke.
So what do Super Bowl champions eat before they receive their rings? Popeyes of course!

And here is the ring!
The Super Bowl LI ring features the final 28-3 score and 5 Lombardi trophies. The ring also has “Greatest Comeback Ever” and “We Are All Patriots” engraved on the inside.
Here are the two QBs not named Tom Brady with their rings. It’s the second for Garoppolo and first for Brissett. Not many teams can actually say that all three of their QBS made a start and contributed to winning a Super Bowl.
Even Bill Belichick cracked a smile as he showed off his seven rings (two with the Giants).
Snoop Dogg then really got the party going for the Patriots.
Here’s what we all really wanted to see tonight. Tom Brady is dancing once again!
The ring apparently has exactly 283 diamonds, a subtle shot at the 28-3 lead that the Atlanta Falcons blew in the Super Bowl.
Next: Ground is ready to get back to work
What do you think of New England’s newest Super Bowl ring? I’d say we are now officially on to 2017.
