Boston Red Sox: 3 young stars shine in Game 68 win at Camden Yards

Mookie Betts isn’t the only slugger who loves to see Orioles pitching.
On Tuesday night, Andrew Benintendi continued his hot streak against Baltimore with his solo home run to extend the lead to 3-1. He later forced a walk with the bases loaded in the fourth to again extend the lead to 4-2.
Overall this season, Benintendi has a whooping .412 average against the Orioles with three homers and 13 RBIs. Call it a coincidence, but the Boston Red Sox outfielder seems to be finding good pitches to hit from Orioles pitching. Much of that, of course, is based on his patience at the plate and keeping the pressure on the pitchers.
"“When you can keep that line moving, kind of get to the next guy, things tend to go well,” Benintendi said following the game. “It’s a tough game. It’s always going back and forth, and it never really stops.”"
With his production Tuesday night, Andrew Benintendi continued his overall hot streak. He has pushed his batting average to .298 and now has 12 homers and 46 RBI on the season. His numbers are already half of what they were for the entire season in 2017.
