Sony Michel will go fast

Sony Michel may just be a rookie, but it seems like he is expected to put up some big numbers. In his last season at Georgia, Michel averaged 7.9 yards per carry. If he can maintain that number in the NFL he will be a fantasy star.

I was surprised to see Michel go in the 5th round, not because I doubt his skill, but because it seems rather high. The New England Patriots backfield seems to be a big question mark.

Michel is getting all the hype, but Mike Gillislee was the starter last season, and Rex Burkhead has proven to be a contender for the starting job.

ESPN is projecting Michel to put up almost 200 points in his rookie year.  Since Michel is a threat as a pass catcher and a runner, there is definitely some potential for some great numbers.

Next: It's hard to hate Tom Brady

Hopefully, these takeaways can help you in your fantasy draft. May the odds be ever in your favor.
