Devers is back baby!

Rafael Devers picked up where he left off prior to his stint on the disabled list.

The young stud returned from a left hamstring injury to instantly have an impact in the lineup.  With two extra base hits in his return, Devers showed he is not only healthy, but ready to be a force in the Red Sox lineup.

The third baseman smashed a double in his first at-bat and then powered a 425-foot two-run homer in the sixth inning.  With all the leadership he is getting from veteran players like J.D. Martinez and former players like Mike Lowell, Devers continues to get better and better.

As a young player who is easy to like, Cora and his teammates are enjoying his success at the plate.

"“It’s cool to see him around,” Cora said.  “He brings a lot of joy to the game, a lot of smiles in the clubhouse.  Everybody’s happy; he’s like the little brother.  For him to go out there and perform, it’s good to see.”"

That little brother is growing into one great offensive player.  What he is doing at the plate over the past couple months proves why he is almost untouchable.  A young star on the rise, Rafael Devers continues to shine.
