By Sam Minton
Joe Johnson
Joe Johnson actually started his career with the Boston Celtics. They drafted him with the 10th pick in the 2001 draft. Maybe Johnson could end his career in Boston.

Johnson was once one of the top guards in the league. As a member of the Atlanta Hawks, Johnson caused lots of problems for Celtics fans. His prime was over 10 years ago when he averaged 25 points, 4.4 assists and 4.2 rebounds a game.
This may have Celtics fans questioning if he would be a good pickup, but I think Johnson has some skills that would make him successful. You also have to remember that Johnson would probably be the 9th or 10th guy off the bench.
Johnson can be a quality post player due to his physical nature. With the Celtics having some great shooters he would be a nice change of pace that could throw off defenses.
Don’t expect Johnson to be averaging 15 points a game, but he could help improve the Celtics offense, even if it is only a slight change.
