The Patriots will most likely be without Trey Flowers who is suffering from a concussion. That means a lot of playing time for Deatrich Wise. I expect to see Wise line up opposite Adrian Clayborn in Week 3.

So far this season Wise has 1.5 sacks and 2 tackles. He was forced to leave the game early in Week 2 due to a middle finger injury.

The Patriots need to have a solid pass rush. They can’t be giving Matt Stafford all the time in the world to throw the ball. We saw how that worked out with Blake Bortles.

I hope to see Wise get a sack or two and get in Stafford’s head early on.

Week 3 definitely isn’t a must-win game for the Patriots, but if they lose it will not be a good sign. The Patriots should demolish the Lions. Detroit isn’t a good team, and I don’t think Matt Patricia can outcoach Bill Belichick.
