3. The Patriots will come out of Week 5 healthy

The New England Patriots seem to love racking up injuries. The Patriots IR looks like a Cheesecake Factory menu.

The Patriots lost two important players on Sunday. Elandon Roberts limped off the field and didn’t look great. New England is already weak at linebacker. If Roberts has to be out for an extended period of time the Patriots would be running out of options.

Also, Rob Gronkowski left the game early with a similar lower body injury. Gronkowski appears to be fine since he was walking without a boot after the game, but it is never a good feeling to see your prized tight end gingerly walking off the field.

In Week 5 I just hope that everyone can stay healthy and the injury bug can say goodbye to New England’s roster.

Thursday night is an important game for the Pats. It may not be on the level of last week’s game, but the Patriots need to maintain their momentum.

Next. Julian Edelman’s comeback tour has begun. dark

If New England loses they will be back where they started. Like all Thursday night games it most likely won’t be pretty, but hopefully the Patriots will come out on top.
