FOXBOROUGH, MA – SEPTEMBER 30: Phillip Dorsett #13 (Photo by Maddie Meyer/Getty Images) /

What happened to Phillip Dorsett?

Phillip Dorsett had a great start to the season. It looked like he was going to finally establish himself and cement his spot in the NFL.

More from New England Patriots

Dorsett started the season by catching 7 balls for 66 yards and a touchdown. Pretty good numbers right? Well since Gordon has joined the team, Dorsett has 7 catches for 80 yards and a touchdown.

Dorsett’s last game caused me to get nervous. I thought I was going to have to call Foxboro police to report a missing person. Dorsett might as well have stayed in the locker room because he had no impact on the game.

If Chris Hogan is struggling to get targets, life is going to be really difficult for Dorsett. I’m not expecting a lot from Dorsett.

I had high hopes for Dorsett at the beginning of the season, but he is now stuck at the bottom of the Patriots depth chart.
