The New England Patriots have an opportunity to bolster their roster and prepare for a Super Bowl run at the trade deadline.

The NFL trade deadline doesn’t usually produce blockbuster deals that happen in the NBA. Usually, there is little hype around the event, but this year the New England Patriots have an opportunity to really improve their roster.

The Patriots may be 4-2, but there is definitely room for improvements. We have seen opposing teams take advantage of both the offense and defense at some points. Let’s not forget how much the Patriots struggled in the first 3 weeks of the season.

New England has been playing much better football as of late, but if they want to be in the best position to win a Super Bowl, they need to go out and grab some guys to help them out on both sides of the ball.

We have seen the Patriots make moves at the deadline before. Remember that amazing quarterback we had Jimmy Garoppolo? He was traded at the deadline. Also the Patriots traded Jamie Collins at the trade deadline in 2016.

At the time it seemed like a perplexing move, but it seems that the Patriots made the right decision. Collins hasn’t been the same player since leaving New England. Being on the Cleveland Browns doesn’t help but I think the Patriots were smart to move on from him.

So here are 3 players the Patriots should go after at the trade deadline.
