EDMONTON, AB – OCTOBER 18: Goaltender Jaroslav Halak #41 of the Boston Bruins(Photo by Codie McLachlan/Getty Images) /

3. There’s a goalie controversy in Boston

Jaroslav Halak was absolutely amazing on Tuesday night. There is no other way to put it. Halak stopped 42 shots and just continues to dominate his opponents.

Halak is now 4-0-2 and has a 1.52 goals against average and a .947 save percentage. It looks like the Bruins need to let Halak takeover the starting job.

Tuukka Rask has struggled early on. Halak has far and away looked like the better goaltender. Boston Bruins Bruce Cassidy rode the hot hand early on last season and he needs to do the same this season.

It will be interesting to see who ends up staring in the Bruins next game. I personally hope to see Halak in net. Everytime Halak plays he gives the Bruins a chance to win.

Next. Offside challenges are the worst thing in hockey. dark

The Bruins now have a long break as they don’t play until Saturday when they head to Nashville to play against the Predators.
