2. Best offensive player

James White has far and away been the Patriots best player on offense. No matter what the Patriots ask of White he is always successful.

I feel like White is an underappreciated player. He has always been overshadowed by Dion Lewis and LeGarrette Blount at running back. Now that these guys are no longer on the team we are starting to see White’s greatness.

Also with Julian Edelman suspended, White was relied on to be a major factor in the Patriots offense and he didn’t disappoint. White seems to be Tom Brady’s favorite person as of late.

In 2018 White has 55 catches, 459 receiving yards, and 6 touchdowns. The running back also has 48 carries for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns which are all career highs.

The most telling stat is that White is the most targeted player on New England’s offense. He already has 74 targets, which is almost double the next guy.

James White is currently the driving force behind the Patriots offense and is putting up some great numbers so far. Hopefully, he can maintain his production throughout the rest of the season.
