2. Patriots front seven needs to pressure Aaron Rodgers

If the Patriots want to try and stop the Green Bay Packers defense they need to put the pressure on Aaron Rodgers. If Rodgers has time to throw he will tear the defense apart.

Now the Patriots have very capable pass rushers. Trey Flowers and Adrian Clayborn have been dominating opposing offensive lines. If they can cause chaos on the edge it will help the Patriots secondary a ton.

A key for the front seven will be making sure Rodgers doesn’t escape and make plays with his feet. Rodgers knows how to move and can extend any play. This can lead to some deep bombs or Rodgers getting the first down on the ground.

The defensive line needs to make sure Rodgers doesn’t escape the pocket. We might see Kyle Van Noy or Elandon Roberts spying Rodgers for most of the game.

If the Patriots front seven can contain Aaron Rodgers, New England should walk away with the victory.
