2. Tuukka troubles

The Boston Bruins may have walked away with the win, but it wasn’t because of Tuukka Rask. Rask continued to look awful. He got better as the game went on but he looks like more of a backup goaltender compared to Jaroslav Halak.

The goal that Rask gave up was awful. My grandfather could have stopped that shot. LIterally, any human being could have stopped that shot. The shot came from near the boards and should have landed in Rask’s glove. In a way, it was more impressive that Rask somehow found a way to not stop the puck.

Rask ended the night with 24 saves and now is over .500. Even though the Bruins won I think Jaroslav Halak will be in net on Thursday night. Rask didn’t prove that he deserved the starting job.

I really want Tuukka Rask to do well and be the starting goaltender that Bruins fans desire, but this season has been a failure for him so far.
