2. The Celtics have Kyrie Irving

Did Celtics fans forget that Kyrie Irving is on the roster? If the Celtics trade Terry Rozier they will be just fine.

I understand that it isn’t a 100 percent guarantee that Irving stays in Boston because anything can happen in the offseason, but with Rozier gone the Celtics would have even more cap space to dedicate to Irving. After his passionate announcement at TD Garden, I’m pretty sure Kyrie is staying.

The Celtics don’t need Rozier. He is just an added bonus. If Rozier wants to have any chance of winning a championship it would be in Boston. It seems that Rozier is ungrateful for the opportunity he has in Boston.

Kyrie Irving will be in Boston for a long time so the Celtics don’t need Terry Rozier. They will have one of the top point guards in the league. When you add in the fact that the Celtics could get a decent return for Rozier it seems like trading him would be a no-brainer.
