3. Save after save

Jaroslav Halak is the best goaltender in the NHL right now. Boy, I did not expect to say that.

Halak had a great weekend for the B’s. He stopped 77 of the 79 shots he faced. It’s not like he isn’t being tested, Halak is just making great saves.

Even though Cassidy said that Tuukka Rask could be back Tuesday, the Bruins should just ride Halak. He is playing great between the pipes.

If Halak continues to play well the Bruins will be in a great spot. When Rask returns he will hopefully get back on track and if not the Bruins should just make Halak the starter. They shouldn’t let his talents go to waste.

So now the Bruins get a little bit of a break. After winning two games in two nights I think they deserve it.

The Boston Bruins begin their road trip on Wednesday night as they face the Colorado Avalanche.
