2. The Hockey gods hate us

Why do bad things happen to good people like Patrice Bergeron?

The Boston Bruins look like an emergency room so far this season. Everyone seems to be getting hurt. That didn’t stop on Friday night.

Patrice Bergeron was the victim of a brutal hit that drove his shoulder into the boards. Bergeron was clearly rattled and tried to play through the pain, but he was clearly shaken up.

If Bergeron has to miss serious time it would be brutal. I really don’t know how the Boston Bruins will survive all these injuries.

Hopefully Bergeron will miraculous be okay, but it looks like he will miss some time. Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy will really have to work some magic with Boston’s lines.

When will the tide turn? When will the Boston Bruins be able to survive a game without a player suffering an injury? It seems like that day will never come.
