3. Matthew Slater

Matthew Slater is a special teams phenom. I am shocked and appalled that he isn’t on the Pro Bowl roster.

Slater is an amazing gunner and has made a career out of being great on special teams.

The fact that Slater didn’t make the Pro Bowl roster ended an epic streak. Slater had been a Pro Bowler for 7 straight seasons. Sadly this streak has come to an end.

I don’t know how Slater will be able to survive. It isn’t about the stats when it comes to special teams. When you see Slater fly up the field it’s clear that he is the best special teams player in the NFL.

It will be pretty hard for New England to have fewer Pro Bowlers next season. Hopefully, we will see an improved Patriots roster next season which should likely mean more Pro Bowlers.

Next. Patriots running back tandem key to success. dark

Sill these 3 players deserved to be on the Pro Bowl roster this season.
