3. Brad Marchand is getting some gifts

Brad Marchand knows how to score goals. It is the main reason he has one of the biggest contracts on the Boston Bruins roster.

Now some of these goals can be absolutely amazing. Brad Marchand has amazing hands and is constantly finding his way on to the highlight reel.

Lately, Marchand is getting lucky and scoring some relatively easy goals. Marchand’s first goal of the game was thanks to a great read by Torey Krug.

Krug launched the puck towards the net and Brad Marchand was able to fight his way to the front of the net and tip the shot in.

Then Marchand’s 2nd goal was an empty-netter. He must love when opposing teams go for the man advantage late in games. This is Marchand’s 2nd straight game with an empty-netter.

It is good to see Marchand scoring goals because he was passing the puck more which isn’t a problem, but it is good to see Marchand lighting the lamp as he has lately.
