2. The stripes were blind

This game was officiated awfully. When Jack Edwards is getting upset over a call that went the Bruins way you know the refs messed up.

There were 3 glaring instances of the referee’s incompetence.

More from Boston Bruins

The first one was when the net came loose and it took Tuukka Rask banging on the crossbar to get the refs attention. How can you miss the goal coming loose? It’s not like it was just a little either, the goal was pretty far off.

Then there was a terrible call on the Bruins. Kevan Miller delivered a great hit but the refs called a holding penalty. Miller delivered a shoulder check, how on Earth is that holding?

Then the Bruins had a call go there way. Tuukka Rask was behind the net and Eric Staal was bearing down on him, and Rask ended up on the ground. Now Zdeno Chara was actually the one who ended up colliding with Rask, but they called a penalty on Staal

Bruins fans will take the call, but the refs were just horrible on Tuesday night.
