4. Rex Burkhead came out of nowhere

Rex Burkhead has been a nonfactor for most of the season. Now that it is the playoffs, Burkhead has become a significant part of the New England Patriots offense.

Burkhead made his return the spotlight in the AFC Divisional game. Burkhead ran a great route to catch a beautiful TD pass from Tom Brady.

The AFC Championship was one of Burkhead’s best game of the season.

Burkhead made two key runs for the New England Patriots. He scored the team’s last two touchdowns.

It seemed like Burkhead had X-Ray vision. He found the holes and made some great runs.

If the New England Patriots can continue to get great performances from their running backs they will be a difficult team to beat. Their running back group has truly become a 3 headed monster that no team wants to mess with.

Hopefully, Burkhead will be able to carry this momentum all the way to the Super Bowl.
