5.Stephon Gilmore

Stephon Gilmore has an important task in the Super Bowl. He needs to lock down either Robert Woods or Brandin Cooks. That isn’t an easy task.

No matter who Gilmore is covering he needs to continue to dominate. We saw Nick Foles throw all over the Patriots secondary last year. Another poor performance will be a slap in the face to Patriots fans.

I think Gilmore will continue to lock guys down. He was absolutely amazing this season. You could argue that he was one of the best defensive players for the New England Patriots.

Gilmore will look to finally get the Super Bowl ring that he has been searching for since he started his career. This seems like it could be the year.

This next week will feel like an eternity. All of New England is waiting for Super Bowl Sunday. Hopefully, there will be another championship banner at Gillette Stadium next season.
