Wayne Simmonds

Wayne Simmonds coming to Boston has been a rumor for a long team. The two sides just seem like a perfect match.

Simmonds has all the requirements of a Boston Bruin. He likes to play a physical game, isn’t afraid to drop the gloves, and can still score goals.

With the Philadelphia Flyers having an awful season this seems to be the perfect time to acquire Simmonds.

I think Simmonds would be a great veteran presence that would pay dividends in the playoffs. It would be interesting to see Wayne and Brad Marchand on the same team because these two guys love agitating opposing players.

Boston shouldn’t have to give up a ton of assets either. They may be able to use a mix of draft picks, and possibly a veteran like David Backes to get Simmonds.

So get ready Boston Bruins fans this is definitely going to be one interesting trade deadline.
