2. Danny Amendola

There is no doubt that Danny Amendola loved being in New England and now there is a good chance that he comes back to the Patriots. With the Miami Dolphins releasing Amendola all signs are pointing to a return to the Pats.

Amendola is the type of receiver that the Patriots love. He may not rack up humongous gains but he consistently makes key catches to keep drives going.

Last season was a down year for Amendola, but it’s hard to blame him. The Dolphins are notorious for having bad quarterbacks. Still Amendola had 59 catches for 575 yards and a touchdown. Imagine what he could do with Tom Brady as his quarterback?

Chris Hogan’s time in New England should be coming to an end. This means that the Patriots need a No.2 or No.3 wide receiver. Amendola fits that role perfectly.

Danny Amendola would be welcomed back in New England and I am sure he would be successful.
