FOXBOROUGH, MASSACHUSETTS – DECEMBER 30: James White #28 of the New England Patriots (Photo by Jim Rogash/Getty Images) /

2. James White

James White may be listed as a running back, but he might be better at catching the ball out of the backfield than running between the tackles.

More from New England Patriots

Last season, White was probably the team’s offensive MVP. He had an amazing season. White tallied 87 catches for 751 yards and 7 touchdowns.

When White gets into open space he is dangerous. It seems like he is one of the toughest players to tackle. He is only 5’10” so he has a low center of gravity, but he can also juke a defender out of his shoes.

In 2019 I expect White to do wonders catching the ball once again. Sony Michel has established himself as the top running back on the team. The duo of Michel and White should cause problems for opposing defenses.

James White is a problem for opposing defenses. The New England Patriots need him to continue to be the star that he was in 2018.
