Mookie Betts

If there is one guy on the Boston Red Sox roster that is deserving of a lifetime deal it is Mookie Betts. Betts is also most likely to get the closest to a lifetime deal. Have you seen the contracts baseball players get? The numbers don’t even seem real.

Betts is one of the best players in the MLB today. He is a great hitter and isn’t lacking in the defensive part of the game either. He was the MVP last season and one of the major reasons the Red Sox won the World Series.

If Betts does stay in Boston it will probably be for the rest of his career. The outfielder will make close to $400 million.

Mookie Betts is the heart and soul of this Boston Red Sox team and that’s why Boston will make sure that he stays with the team for the rest of his career.
