1. Brad Marchand

At this point even opposing fans have to realize that Brad Marchand is one of the top players in the NHL.

More from Boston Bruins

This season was an important one for Marchand. He finally proved that he can be an agitator without crossing the line. Marchand managed to not get suspended this season. That already makes this one of his best years as a pro.

But Marchand didn’t stop there. With 36 goals and 64 assists Marchand became the first player since Joe Thornton in the 2002-03 season.

As you can see Marchand dished out a lot of assists especially early on in the season. He has really improved his game and actively looked for the best goal scoring opportunity. Even if that meant passing the puck.

Towards the end of the season Marchand was scoring at an epic rate. In his last 20 games he has scored 13 goals.

This was far and away the best season of Marchand’s best of his career.
