Boston Bruins: 5 stars of 2018-19 regular season

4. Jake DeBrusk

Well now that we got the dominant first line out of the way let’s talk about the other guys. The best guy on the 2nd line this season was Jake DeBrusk. He had one of the best sophomore seasons for the Bruins in a while.

DeBrusk is another player who has had to deal with injuries. He only played in 67 games, but was still one of the team’s top scorers. DeBrusk had 27 goals and 15 assists this season.

This season was filled with highs and lows for DeBrusk. He was called out by his coach and struggled to score at some points but at other times DeBrusk was one of the best players on the team.

It really looks like the Bruins have a special player in DeBrusk. He appears to be the 2nd wave of stars that will carry this team in the future.

With all the focus being on the first line I expect DeBrusk to be lighting the lamp a decent amount in the playoffs.
