PHILADELPHIA, PA – DECEMBER 23: Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas #87 (Photo by Brett Carlsen/Getty Images) /

3. Demaryius Thomas

Even if catastrophic events occurred an N’Keal Harry was a bust the Patriots have a back up plan in Demaryius Thomas.

Thomas was once one of the best wide receivers in the league, but life after 30 hasn’t been great for him.

Last season was a very mediocre season for Thomas. He had 59 catches for 677 yards and 5 touchdowns. Thomas has had to deal with injuries and everything else that comes with being in the NFL.

Now Thomas can be a mentor as well as a quality depth wide receiver. I expect the patriots to use him to widen the field and gain key first downs by the sidelines. If your 3rd wide receiver is putting up numbers like Thomas did last season New England will be just fine.

So as you can see the New England Patriots have made some great moves this offseason and i wouldn’t be surprised to see them in the Super Bowl once again.
