Xander Bogaerts

For a while, we didn’t know if Xander Bogaerts would be staying in Boston, but the team signed him a long term deal to ensure that he isn’t going anywhere.

More from Boston Red Sox

Bogaerts has definitely repaid the Red Sox. He is having another great season. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds his way on to the All-Star team.

In 2019 Bogaerts has been consistently one of the best hitters for the Red Sox. He has a .305 batting average with 12 home runs and 39 RBIs. He is also one of the top hit getters in MLB today.

Bogaerts has developed into one of the best shortstops in the majors today. He has some competition in Tim Anderson and Jorge Polanco, but I would expect to see X in the All-Star game.

It seems more than likely that Bogaerts will be playing in his 2nd All-Star game in his 7-year career and will be one of the faces of the Boston Red Sox for years to come.
