The Boston Celtics have a chance to add one of the most unique players in NBA history in Tacko Fall.

I think the most logical move for the Boston Celtics it’s cutting Guerschon Yabusele and signing Tacko Fall.

It makes complete sense since they would probably have a similar role for the Celtics, but also…think of the stuff you could sell with Tacko on your team.

The content practically produces itself. I mean, come on…

Disgusting profit and hilarious t-shirts aside, the move makes a lot of sense from a basketball perspective.

The Boston Celtics desperately lack rim protection and who better than a guy with the longest wingspan in NBA history to protect it.

I keep hearing that Yabu is strong…so what, go play football then. The New England Patriots need a tight end.

Although, after watching Summer League, the man clearly has hands of stone. (Maybe send him to the Jets.)

I honestly don’t even understand how this is a question at all for the Boston Celtics.

The case against Yabu

Yabusele is in his third season in the NBA and he can’t even contribute in Summer League. In my book that’s a bust.

For the last two Summer League games, I have watched Guerschon Yabusele flailing around the court, trying to “make an impact” and all I see is turnovers, bad passes and the occasional dive on the floor to no avail.

At this point, Yabu would have to drop 50 in each of his remaining Summer League games to get himself back in the conversation of a roster spot on the Celtics.

And by the way, that’s the logical people’s conversation, not the Yabusele fanatics who love him because he’s unique.

In his two Summer League games, Yabu is averaging two points and three boards in 16.5 minutes. He is 1-7 from the field.

Next. Three takeaways from Kemba Walker’s Players’ Tribune column. dark

This is a 23-year-old in his third NBA season, playing against mostly rookies and second-year players who may not see an once of actual NBA action.

The point is Yabu can’t play. He is not an NBA player and he’s got to go.

It’s Tacko Tuesday y’all.
