Naming three New England Patriots players on the hot seat when it comes to stepping up and making the next step this upcoming season.

When it comes to the New England Patriots roster spots are earned, and unless you are Tom Brady, there is no tolerance for complacency on the football field.

Back in June, Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton compiled a list of the hottest hot seat for every NFL team in 2019.  His choice for the Patriots is no surprise but got me to thinking about other players on the team entering prove-it years.

There are certainly a lot of players on that list, which will make training camp and the preseason an interesting one for the defending Super Bowl champions.

From the wide receiver position to cornerback depth, the New England Patriots certainly have a few question marks that can be answered by certain players stepping up and doing their job.

When thinking about which players on the current roster are under the most pressure, here are the three hottest hot seats for the Bill Belichick’s crew due to both expectations and the opportunity each player has to be a valuable contributor for the team.
