3. The big man still has it

One would think that Zdeno Chara would lose a step as he gets older but he still plays a major role on this Boston Bruins roster. He showed that he still has it on Thursday night.

Chara was able to score his 1st goal of the season on Thursday night. He rifled a slap shot through traffic and into the net.

Now Chara has definitely lost some juice on his shot, but it’s still one of the fastest in the league. I wouldn’t want to stand in front of that.

Hopefully, Chara will continue to do well and not be a hindrance to the team. Hopefully, he won’t break down and start letting people blow by him.

Next. Don Sweeney makes another great deal. dark

So hopefully the Bruins are able to bounce back and snag a home victory in front of their fans on Saturday at TD Garden. We don’t need a losing streak so early in the season.
