2. Jaroslav Halak is so good

Every time I see Jaroslav Halak in net for the Boston Bruins I have to pinch myself. How did the team end up with such a talented goaltending unit?

More from Boston Bruins

Usually, when you start a backup goalie you are nervous. With Halak in net there is nothing to worry about.

Monday was just another example of how great Halak is. He had another outstanding game and stopped 30 shots against the Ducks.

It seems that every night that Halak makes a save that has you jumping out of your seat. He is definitely one of the best free agent signings that the team has made in recent history.

Having a backup like Halak helps your team out a lot. They don’t have to run out Rask every single game. They can share responsibility and this ensures that Tuukka Rask is well rested for the playoffs.

The Boston Bruins are so lucky to have a goalie like Jaroslav Halak on their roster.
