Sony Michel, RB

Coming off a pretty solid performance against the Dallas Cowboys as far as yards per carry, New England Patriots running back Sony Michel will continue that momentum against a Houston Texans run defense that has been torched the last couple weeks.

In the last two games, they have given up over 431 yards in back-to-back games and could be exposed again if the Patriots get the quick passing game going early.

With Texans nose tackle D.J. Reader clogging up the middle, Michel and Rex Burkhead will have most of their success off tackle, especially to the side of Isaiah Wynn, which is where Sony Michel gained most of his yardage.

Overall, the Patriots running backs versus the Houston Texans defense will be an intriguing matchup.  Prior to those two games, the Texans were good against the run while the Patriots have not been consistent mainly due to injuries along the offensive line.

In this game, the Texans will be focused on the short passing game which will open things up for Sony Michel as long as New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels doesn’t get too predictable with the play calling in certain spots.
