New England Patriots: 3 games of intrigue around the NFL Week 14
The New England Patriots have a tough one in Week 14 going up against Patrick Mahomes II and the Kansas City Chiefs. Here are three other matchups of intrigue around the NFL in Week 14.
The entire AFC playoff race got a whole lot interesting with the New England Patriots falling to 10-2 after a Sunday night loss to the Houston Texans in Week 13.
That loss put the Baltimore Ravens on top of the AFC with the No. 1 seed. It also moved the Buffalo Bills a game close to the Patriots for the AFC East crown.
Of course, after any Patriots loss the obituary is being written about a Tom Brady demise or the dynasty coming to an end, but those same critics and doubters should be use to this script by now.

It’s quite simple, the New England Patriots will be alright. In fact, they may still be in the driver’s seat for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. All they have to do is win out and hope for a Ravens hiccup somewhere along the way and that could come in a battle with the Bills in Buffalo Sunday.
Lamar Jackson and the Ravens also still have AFC North battles with the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers left on their schedule. With how those teams battle one another, there is a high chance Baltimore does fall.
That also means Tom Brady and the Patriots will have to take care of their own business. They have a touch one against the Chiefs and also have a matchup against the Bill looming at Gillette Stadium.
It really won’t matter what the Ravens do if the defending Super Bowl champs lose another game or two.
